Wahala comics blogpost: storytelling techniques-Aftermath

Aftermath: This a writing and storytelling technique that is used to describe or expose the reader to the nature of a character or an unseen force for instance a natural disaster without showing the character or force in action. This technique allows the writer build a sense of mystery as suspense levels are rampant upwards. An example of this technique is, for instance a writer depicting broken trees, houses with their roofs blown off, forcefully bent electrical antenna, etc. as opposed to describing a raging storm or whirlwind.

This technique is used by Ugochukwu Amadi the founder and president of Wahala Comics in several titles.
